By the grace of God upon my life I have been preaching the gospel for over a period of 10years and I have witnessed the power of God in many ways…
I will never forget one day while traveling from a mission place in Eastern Uganda and while seating on a motorbike , the man riding me was a Moslem man and while sharing with him about Jesus he told me the reason he can not give his life to Jesus is because whenever he goes near any one preaching or be it a radio of someone preaching about Jesus he gets a terrible headache so I told him the Bible says test and see that the Lord is good. (Psalms 34:8 Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.)
I went ahead and told him that if he gives his life to Jesus immediately Jesus will deliver him from that attack so I went ahead and led him to salvation then immediately after the salvation prayer I told him I wanted him to prove for himself that Jesus is real and that if he came into his life He can can deal with that situation without me praying so I went ahead and tuned in a radio with the gospel and this man now born again listened to the teachings for a very long time without any attacks of headaches any more and he was so amazed at how much power the salvation prayer had. I glorified the name of our God and up to this day I love to share this testimony and very many other things I have seen the Lord do whenever we have called upon his name which include healing complicated illnesses such as cancers, giving strength to the weak , saving many souls as we share the gospel and si much more.
My message to anyone reading this right now is that seek to know who God is and seek to know His will for your life too. God is who he says He is, He changes not, does not lie, is faithful to His word, His word will never change and He can change any situation ( there is no problem too big for him to solve)
We are His children and He cares so so much about us and all He requires from us is to know Him, draw closer to him by devorting to studying his word, to prayer, living a life of concentration and holiness because He is a holy God. That is why He says he be ye holy because am holy ( 1Peter 1:16 “for it is written: ‘Be holy, because I am holy’.
ARE YOU READY FOR THE DAY OF THE LORD ?
Zephania 1:14
The great day of the Lord is near—near and coming quickly. The cry on the day of the Lord is bitter; the Mighty Warrior shouts his battle cry. 15 That day will be a day of wrath— a day of distress and anguish, a day of trouble and ruin, a day of darkness and gloom,a day of clouds and blackness— 16 a day of trumpet and battle cry against the fortified cities and against the corner towers. 17 “I will bring such distress on all people that they will grope about like those who are blind, because they have sinned against the Lord. Their blood will be poured out like dust and their entrails like dung. 18 Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to save them on the day of the Lord’s wrath.” In the fire of his jealousy the whole earth will be consumed, for he will make a sudden end of all who live on the earth.
I hear many people say come Lord but are you truly ready for the return of Christ? If He came now are you very sure without doubt you would be accepted in heaven? Do you daily count the cost and are you working out your salvation with fear and trembling (Phillpians 2:12) ? Do you really understand what will happen in the day of the return of our Lord. I hope you realize his takes a lot of preparation for the bride.
Mathew 25:1
“Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. 3 For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, 4 but the wise took flasks of oil with their lamps. 5 the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and slept. 6 But at midnight there was a cry, ‘Here is the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.’ 7 Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ 9 But the wise answered, saying, ‘Since there will not be enough for us and for you, go rather to the dealers and buy for yourselves.’ 10 And while they were going to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut. 11 Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open to us.’ 12 But he answered, ‘Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.
Holiness is God’s standard and the most qualification He requires from each and every Christian ( Hebrews 12:14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.)
Math 7:21 (Click for Chapter)
New International Version
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
God’s will for all of us is to know Him, walk in His ways, obey His words by totally yielding and surrendering unto Him, seeking Him, loving Him with all our hearts, mind and soul (Math 22:37 )
Let’s take a look at Moses, he besought God and ye yearned to learn His ways. Psalms 86:11 teach me your way, O LORD, that I may live according to your truth! Grant me purity of heart, so that I may honor you. In the very same manner we ought to seek God to teach us his ways .
The other example is of Mary who so much enjoyed sitting at the feet of Jesus to learn and so in the same way we need to immitate her by yearning and desiring so much to study and learn the word of God
Many people aspire for so many things but not to learn the word of God.
Jesus and Luke 10:8 As Jesus and the disciples continued on their way to Jerusalem, they came to a certain village where a woman named Martha welcomed him into her home. 39 Her sister, Mary, sat at the Lord’s feet, listening to what he taught. 40But Martha was distracted by the big dinner she was preparing. She came to Jesus and his disciples continued on their way to Jerusalem, they came to a certain village where a woman named Martha welcomed him into her home. 39 Her sister, Mary, sat at the Lord’s feet, listening to what he taught. 40 But Martha was distracted by the big dinner she was preparing. She came to Jesus and said, “Lord, doesn’t it seem unfair to you that my sister just sits here while I do all the work? Tell her to come and help me.”
41 But the Lord said to her, “My dear Martha, you are worried and upset over all these details! 42 There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her.”)
After realizing and getting to know God’s will act upon it prayerfully, delayed obedience is sometimes explained as disobedience.
Luke 12:47
“The servant who knows the master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what the master wants will be beaten with many blows.
God is very patient with us not desiring that any of us should get lost but dear beloved let us not be in the habit of grieving God’s holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:30 And do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he has identified you as his own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption).
Let us b careful with our walk with the Holy spirit and be very sensitive of Him always taking heed to hear and obey his voice, God’s grace is sufficient to help us .Mathew 12:31 And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven
Let us use the grace well Heb 12:14 See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. 16 See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son. 17 Afterward, as you know, when he wanted to inherit this blessing, he was rejected. Even though he sought the blessing with tears, he could not change what he had done.
Stand firm not matter the challenges that come your way knowing well that God is for you and on your side, let not your faith be shaken because Greater is He that lives in you than He that is in the world, If He could give His only son , what can He with old from you? Seek Him earnestly you will find Him (prov 8:17 those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me.)
Also don’t forget that many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers them from all (Psalms 34 :19)
The Lord knows all your needs even before you pray and if you stay in His presence you will lack no good thing (Psalms 37:25 I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread
Psalms 34:10 Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the LORD will lack no good thing.
Prayerfully keep in that path of seeking God to know Him and learn His ways and you will be exceedingly blessed
Don’t be moved by challenges you go through because even Jesus on earth suffered and now reigns in victory. As long as you are not suffering for a sin sin committided count all joy when you suffer for the sake of the name of the Lord for great is your reward in heaven. James 1:2-4. “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing
Jesus also tells us to carry our cross and follow him (Mathew 16:24)
Acts 14:22 strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. “We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,” they said.
1Pet 5:9 st him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
One day all our tears will be wiped away
13 Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?” 14 I answered, “Sir, you know.”And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore,“they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence. 16‘Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat down on them,’ a nor any scorching heat. 17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; ‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’ b ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’
2 cor 6:3 We put no stumbling block in anyone’s path, so that our ministry will not be discredited. 4 Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses; 5 in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; 6 in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; 7 in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left; 8 through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors; 9 known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed; 10 sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.
Let us not misuse the grace of God but use it well to grow in the spirit and please God. Some people deliberately do sin saying they will come back and repent surely this is a terrible sin against the blood of Jesus and His holy Spirit.
Heb:26 Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins. 27 There is only the terrible expectation of God’s judgment and the raging fire that will consume his enemies. 28 For anyone who refused to obey the law of Moses was put to death without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 Just think how much worse the punishment will be for those who have trampled on the Son of God, and have treated the blood of the covenant, which made us holy, as if it were common and unholy, and have insulted and disdained the Holy Spirit who brings God’s mercy to us. 30 For we know the one who said,“I will take revenge. I will pay them back.” He also said, “The LORD will judge his own people.”i 31 It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God. 32 Think back on those early days when you first learned about Christ.j Remember how you remained faithful even though it meant terrible suffering. 33 Sometimes you were exposed to public ridicule and were beaten, and sometimes you helped others who were suffering the same things. 34 You suffered along with those who were thrown into jail, and when all you owned was taken from you, you accepted it with joy. You knew there were better things waiting for you that will last forever. 35 So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! 36 Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. 37“For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay. 38 And my righteous ones will live by faith.k But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.”l 39 But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved.
Luke 13:6 Then Jesus told this story: “A man planted a fig tree in his garden and came again and again to see if there was any fruit on it, but he was always disappointed. 7 Finally, he said to his gardener, ‘I’ve waited three years, and there hasn’t been a single fig! Cut it down. It’s just taking up space in the garden.’ 8“The gardener answered, ‘Sir, give it one more chance. Leave it another year, and I’ll give it special attention and plenty of fertilizer. 9 If we get figs next year, fine. If not, then you can cut it down.’”
Mathew 7:19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire
Are we obedient Christians and what i mean is do we live by the the standard of the word of God ? Do we use God word as final judgment in our lives in everyday life ?
As we read the word we can all see clearly see the standard that God is going to use to judge us
Mathew 7:13 “You can enter God’s Kingdomonly through the narrow gate. The highway to hellf is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. 14But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.
Math 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Are we seeking first the things of God and godliness such as knowing Him and learning his will for our lives first or are we on the pursuit of worldly things first ( don’t forget they are all perishable and only one thing you will take out of this world with you is righteous, those deeds of righteouses, that is when accountability comes in
Math 12:36 tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken.
Do we treat others the way we want to be treated ? By this I mean our workmates, spouses, neighbors, roommates, friends.. The list is endless. Mathew 7:12 Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.
Are we in control and carefull of what comes out of our mouth because with our tongue we are going to be judged and with our same tongue we shall be justified. James 3:2 For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body. 3 If we put bits into the mouths of horses so that they obey us, we guide their whole bodies as well. 4 Look at the ships also: though they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are guided by a very small rudder wherever the will of the pilot directs. 5 So also the tongue is a small member, yet it boasts of great things.
How great a forest is set ablaze by such a small fire! 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of unrighteousness. The tongue is set among our members, staining the whole body, setting on fire the entire course of life,a and set on fire by hell. 7 For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and sea creature, can be tamed and has been tamed by mankind, 8 but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. 9 With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in the likeness of God. 10 From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers,c these things ought not to be so. 11 Does a spring pour forth from the same opening both fresh and salt water? 12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, bear olives, or a grapevine produce figs? Neither can a salt pond yield fresh water.
Mathew 12:37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”
These were Jesus’s words concerning what comes out of our mouth. Mathew 12:34 You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
Have you reached that point in life where you fill fully convinced that you know the will of God for your life ? And if not what are you planning to do about this to ensure you do not miss heaven on the day of the Lord ? Mathew 7:21 Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26 to make her holy, cleansing b her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. 28 In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself
What kind of fruit is your life bearing and on the day of the Lord are you fully convinced your actions the the way you live life will make you be accepted in heaven? If not then what actions are you going to start taking to prepare yourself for the day of the Lord . Galatian 5:19 When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, 21envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!

praıse the lord , this is a great post
